Abdullah Ghaleb Abdullah Al-Barghouti

An expert in preparing explosive devices. Served as the explosives engineer for Hamas's terror infrastructure in Ramallah. This infrastructure carried out a series of severe bombing attacks. Additionally, he served as an instructor for manufacturing explosive devices and trained operatives from various organizations. He was convicted and sentenced to 67 life sentences for his involvement in manufacturing explosive devices for a long series of severe bombing attacks in Israel during which 66 civilians were killed and 500 additional civilians were wounded. Among the suicide attacks carried out using explosive devices he prepared were: ● A suicide attack at the Sbarro restaurant in August 2001, in which 15 civilians were killed and about 200 others were wounded. ● A combined attack of two suicide bombers and a car bomb in central Jerusalem in December 2001, in which 10 Israeli civilians were killed and 155 others were wounded. ● A suicide attack at Cafe Moment in Jerusalem in March 2002, in which 11 Israelis were killed and 58 others were wounded. ● An attack at the cafeteria of the Hebrew University in Jerusalem in July 2002, in which 9 Israelis were killed and 58 others were wounded. ● A suicide attack at the Sheffield Club in Rishon LeZion in May 2002, in which 16 Israeli civilians were killed and 45 others were wounded. He is considered a terrorism instigator and a senior and significant military leader, serving as a focal point of knowledge and senior professional authority in the field of preparing explosive materials and carrying out terror attacks.
