Shura Council (Hezbollah)

The Shura Council is Hezbollah's supreme body, led by the organization's leader. It oversees five councils: the Jihad (responsible for military matters), the Executive (civilian), the Judicial, the Parliamentary (supervision of political activities), and the Political (advice and political connections). The council members are elected by the organization's General Assembly, whose role includes choosing the leader and renewing his term every three years.
